I got a 96 K3500 4x4 x-cab drw.
what is normal oil pressure?
I just changed the oil & before I did I would have
about 40 pds & now it starts around 40 & in 30 minutes
its between 20-40.
is this normal??

the oil pressure seems to be on par. i have a 94 crewcab 2wd drw with 289,000 miles on the odo. with fresh oil and a little lucas, cold starts will be at about 35-40 psi. it will stay there during travel, and will drop to around 20 psi at a warm idle. i have been told by a reliable source that this is perfectly acceptable for this engine

I have an 04 5.9cummins and its oil psi is about 20 at best on warm idle. It scared me at first lol
2004.5 DoDgE Ram 2500 4X4 QC, AT, SB, Larmine. Edge Jucie with attitude stacked with a smarty. Brute force intake. No cat, No muffler, No worries
