If you are really wanting to keep your warranty, then leave the truck alone and just drive it. As soon as you start messing with the DPF (it'll throw codes when you pull it off) or the ECM programming, your warranty is pretty much toast. All programmers/modules leave a "fingerprint" in the ECM, even if you pull them off before to take it into the dealer. With a downloader/programmer the ECM will tell the last time it was "flashed" and with the boxes/modules, the ECM can display the injector timing, duration and fuel pressure. Anything over stock values signals a warranty-killing mod.

I have to agree with DD03, depending on the dealer the they can give a hard time with any changes to your powertrain.  But just remember they only warranty the powertrain for 3 years or 36000 miles. what is the likely hood that something will go wrong (famous last words).

the cummins trucks also have a 10yr/100,000 mile engine warranty, the trucks themselvs only have a 3/36 or 7/70 warranty

i agree, leave it stock, especially since that motor is soooo new, wait 2 yrs or so, then the chips and aftermarket will be much much better
