I changed my turbo due to it going out. Replaced it with another Garrett and now my exhaust whistles bad. Could it be the wastegate valve messed up? I have 5" exhaust. After changing the turbo and cranked it and blew off a hose going to the wastegate due to the wastegate electrical was unpluged.

what year is your truck? and was the turbo you bought new or used? and one more thing the turbo on the 6.0 doesnt have a waste gate. its variable geometry.

Also, what type of intake do you have, I have the K&N on my 04, 6.0. It whistles like mad under any load. I have a shortend 4" exhaust also. Makes the noise more pronounced.
04 F250, PSD, K&N, Straight Pipes.
