I wouldnt be doin full boost 4 dig launchs with a GM product. Thats a really good way to break tie rods and arms. And I'll tell you from expirence and being a mechanic at the local GM dealer that replacing all that is not cheap because its very labor intensive. Take it easy and if you do a 4 dig launch only launch at 12 psi max and at the most extreme. I only launched my old Duramax at 7 pounds and i could beat about anything out there.

They should be exactly the same. What you wanna do is check those half shafts and ends and arms other wise you could be up crap creek in a hurry. When that front end goes out it usually likes to do it all at once.

All GMs run IFS so they dont have solid axles in the front end. They have a gear housing that leads into a "half shaft" on either end. They are also called tie rods. They arent as strong as solid axle because there are so many more components to them. I would check the front axle seals for leaks cause if you have them you are up crap creek in a hurry because once they start leaking (usually from a hard launch and normal wear and tear) they get worse and usually lock up and take out a bunch of other stuff like upper A arms, pitman arm, idler arm, that housing, T case they go in a big way.
