I'm not sure exactly what forum to post this question so I figured I would start here.  SO. . .  Regular or synthetic oil for diesels?  Which brand performs the best as well?  
2006 LBZ Duramax.  AEM Brute Force HD Diesel Intake, hopefully more to come!

Rotella and Amsoil seem to have the most fans on here. I have been told not to use Royal Purple on Power Strokes, for whatever reason.

Thats kind of odd considering DPmag did that article on fuel saving using a powerstroke and they used Royal Purple in the motor.

CHEVRON Delo 400 Synhetic SAE 5W40 has worked very well for me in a wide variety of conditions on my RAM but has also performed well in my kennworth.  
05 Dodge 3500, Banks sixgun w/ Power pda, exhaust, intercooler w/tubing and High Ram intake, AFE stage 2 intake
