Probably a dumb question, but does anyone have a 4BT Cummins they are tired of tripping over and wants to get rid of for cheap? Preferably one with a Chevy bell-housing bolt pattern. I'm looking for one to transplant into my S-10 project. Send me a PM if you know of anything. Thanks.
2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4. H.O. Cummins, 6spd manual trans, 4.10 gearing. Intake, Exhaust, Hot Juice, HTT HTB2 62/12/65, Jake Brake, 305-65R17 (33 x 12.50) Pro-Comp Extreme All Terrains, SBC Con O FE, Fuel Tank Vent Mod, Various other gizmos.
I-6 Cummins guys are keepin' it straight. Those other boys swing both ways.

Yea, I've been keeping an eye on those for a while. Most of the sellers there are wanting top dollar (or more)for them and I'm just not in the position to pay that much for one right now.
I learned of a retired Fed Ex truck just north of the town I work in sitting in a flea market parking lot. I went over the next day and sure enough, somebody had already relieved it of it's engine/transmission. I talked to the shop owner who informed me the lucky buyer got "a clackity ol' 4 cylinder diesel", automatic trans (most likely a TH-400), inter-cooler, radiator, engine mounts, alternator, starter, the whole figgin shebang for $1000.00! That's the kind of deal I'm looking for!

My name is Tim and in response to your question if you go to your local heavy tractor and farm implements dealer alot of times they have old motors sitting around. If you need help finding one I have a shop in Memphis,Tn that could find you one. Shoot me an email. catfan83@earthlink.net, also if you need parts for your current diesel my online store will be built soon.
