Fuel prices seem to have gone down quite a bit from their peak. Especially diesel. Have any of you guys noticed this?

Oil prices have some down 16% in the past couple of weeks.  Hopefully the speculators have come to realize that the cost of fuel in the high $4.00 is unsustanable and the American people will respond accordingly.

While gas has dropped .50-.60 cents over the last few weeks here (mansfield, oh), diesel hasn't went down hardly at all. A dime at the most.

Was on my way to Cleveland and came across a Love's fuel station at I-71 and SR-89. Filled-up for $4.15 a gallon. That's up to $0.60 cents "cheaper" than back home, about 35 miles away.

Wow! That's the first time I've heard of diesel below $4 for quite a while!

Less than 3 months ago i payed 4.99 for fuel at a racetrack here in Georgia, and toaday i only gave 3.99 a gallon. I hope it stays like this. By the way, racetrack is my new favorite gas station, the one hear has diesel at all 20 pumps, most around here only have it at one or two and its always got some dick in a prius or a minivan blocking it...

I saw some of those "racetrack" fuel stations during our trip to Florida. Their fuel any good? Isn't it a crock of schit when $3.99 a gallon fuel seem like the bargain of the decade???

Racetracks have been around here as long as i can remember, but im still a few weeks shy of 21, so that doesnt say much, but as far as i know its as good as a QT or a BP, which are the best ones around here.

When I was going to school in Texas, there was a Race Track gas station near campus, and their gas was only like 79 cents a gallon! That was about 12-13 years ago, but I ran my little Nissan Sentra on it all the time, and it never gave me a day of trouble.

I just found diesel for 2.79 a gallon here in Orange County, CA. I think 87 was like 3.09 or 2.99. For some reason it seems Shell has the cheapest diesel. What have you seen lately?
