In a somewhat ironic slip, the displacement of the upcoming half-ton diesel in the Dodge Ram is believed to be 5.0 liters, given away by an air conditioning service sticker on the 2009 Rams that specifies "5.0/6.7 diesel." Oops.

If true (and it looks like it is), it will give Dodge the largest-displacement half-ton AND 3/4-1-ton diesels currently on the market. Any guesses for the output of the new baby Cummins? Keep in mind the quoted power figures for the Duramax 4500 are 310 hp and 520 lb./ft. Discuss...
