HI BLACK BETTY 06, I always set my trip odometer to zero when I fill-up, I know that I will always be near 550 miles when I need to fill my tank, just incase my fuel gauge funks up.

Thank You Gunman41mag. i have been setting my trip odometer now. I get about 350-400 miles per tank since the dmax has a little fuel tank(26 gal i believe). I spoke with the dealer today an he said it might also show falsely because of the fuel reserve.

HI BlackBetty06, My f250 has a 38 gallon tank, it's a long bed. BUT I also check my MPG, on every tank, if I don't get near 15 MPG, I know there is something wrong with the truck !!! ALWAYS SET THE TRIP ODOMETER and divide the miles and gallons and you will know your MPG.
