just a little rambling. i was curious if all of you 6.5 enthusiasts are excited as i am with all the new interest in getting more power out of the 6.5. i am an owner of a nearly 300k 94 dually, it has been in the family since new and is a favorite truck of everyones. i had been contemplating on engine swaps...cummins or duramax? in the family is also a 98 dodge/cummins, 08 dodge/cummins, and an 01 duramax. all great trucks, but i have know decided on a rebuild of the 6.5/4l80e combo. one problem. the local diesel shop i use will not sell the marine injectors and pump that i am looking for without the correct cores. who is selling these? any help on locating them will be a big help. the lower compression pistons and larger turbo are an easy find, but these are not. i am also looking into using a contact i made when selling parts a while back to get a custom-ground camshaft to wake up the bottom-end torque. anyone else interested if we can come up with something? its sometimes easier to get this done if there seems to be a large interest for the product.
