Let me pick your brains. I just installed an edge evolution II. The egt seems alittle high and my boost seems low. Normal driving egt is 600-700 @ 70mph boost is only 3-5psi. When towing on levels 1 or 2 (60/80 hp)egt freequently hit 1200 pulling long hills @65-70 mph had to back off throtle. Trailer wieght only 3500 LBs. The highest I have seen my boost towing is 15psi uphill. Under WOT I get 21psi and hit 1250 before backing off. Is this normal? The problem is I have no base line to go from. I did not have gauges until now. My probe is mounted pre turbo on drviers side. I have an x-wheel compressor wheel (Borg warner).
Thanks for your help.

Average temps: stock truck (in degrees Fahrenheit -- ***

Idle – 250 to 450
Cruise no load – 400 to 700
Cruise with trailer – 500 to 800
Pulling hill no load – 500 to 1000
Pulling hill with trailer – 900 to 1250

i got that from another thread

Yeah, I'd say those temp guidelines are pretty accurate. My father-in-law has a pyrometer on his LBZ Duramax, and those are the common temp ranges for those conditions.

Thanks for the help with the egts but how about boost levels.  What should I be seeing with this setup?

your boost levels do sound a little low but not by much

your temp arn't bad but their not great either

buy both map fooler the in line pressures regulated one and the electric one that plugs in map outlet the but wastgate delay all of that is like 100 buck and will make help your turbo and lower egt, or just buy a great water / meth system
