whats everyones views on banks performance parts for the dmax??  

cheaper stuff out there that produce better power numbers.  

good to know thanks... i posted dmax delayed startup earlier, would you have any idea what would cause the engine to turn over for a few seconds before starting?? it only does it after it has been running?? im hopin its not an injector issue  

i wouldnt know but e2therock2 would know hes a diesel tech at a local chevy dealer  ill send him this thread and he will post. if you had a powerstroke i could help more lol. i was in the same boat as you with banks, is it worth it? turned out nope not even close to being worth it, only thing i like from them is their intercooler  

i was lookin at the ottomind 6 tuner, and the ram air kit from banks, what company to you recomend to give me the best equivlent stuff??  thanks for sending that off to e2therock2, hopfuly he gets back to me.  

alot of guys like edge for their trucks and i havent heard any complaints about it. mbrp trubo back exhaust, afe stage 2 intake, and you'll be pretty good there till you wanna add more  

i had an edge on my 08 lmm. Dont do it. any selection above pwr lvl 3 causes truck to regenerate alot. pulled it off and ordered the banks clean burn system 6 gun with pda. i will let u know how it goes. the edge is fine on trucks with no dpf  

A lot of guys don't like Banks stuff because it's expensive and doesn't smoke a lot, but I've generally found their stuff is good quality. If you're going to the more conservative route and keeping all the emissions stuff on your truck, I'd say Banks would be a good way to go.  

i agree with esanchez. the "clean" way is banks and it does make power but if your into blowing smoke then something like edge or whatever would make comparable power and smoke more.
