yeah zane koch is right now running 871 rwhp. 130HP more and he would hit the 1000Hp mark. that would be cool.

hey guys just got a 97 7.3 powerstroke under the hood it has a aftermarket garrett turbo, what all had to be done to the motor to install this turbo? and is there a way to tell which garrett turbo it is, I think there are three different ones.

the closet power stroke (that i know of) thats road legal to 1000hp is the one that belongs to brians truck shop. it is in the 900hp range. runs in the low 11's in the quater. that would be someone you would need to call to help ya get there imo. but making that kind of power it is hard on all parts, i was up there a few weeks ago at there shop and they had the block out of that truck that had been broke in three ways. i am not meaning cracked i mean broke into three seperate sections.

I agree my buddy has a 2002 7.3 sitting on 40's and he's making 304HP and 620 to the ground with a chip exhaust and afe stage 2. The guys at BTS transmissions said his wife was driving down the road in their 7.3 with 500+HP and it threw a rod. I agree with the guys about it's cheaper to soop up a cummins then a powerstroke. Spend about 15 grand and drop a cummins in that ford and it will scream! If you want to boost your HP you could throw some injectors in and redo your turbo and intercooler system. Do the turbo/intercooler first because the bigger injectors will produce more heat and you will need that cooler intake temp.
