HEY GUYS, I'm looking to get the most MPG out of my 2008 F-250 6.4 PSD 4X2 SUPERCAB LONG-BED, WHAT PROGRAMMER, CHIP, or UPGRADE should I do ????????

There just seems to be nothing tuner wise that will improve mileage. You can put an intake and delete the muffler. My dads 6.4 has and intake setup on it no mileage gains at all.  

Hey Gun! Not to rub it in, but I think the general consensus is the 6.4 is a guzzler. I know Edge and Hypertech have some new programmers out that they claim improve fuel economy, but haven't heard any first-hand reports. If you think you can get away with it, I'd try to take the DPF off, and re-flash the ECU so it doesn't go into regen mode, that should probably get you 3-4 mpg right there. If you do that, for sure you'll void your powertrain warranty, though.  

Yes, you will see 20 mpg with the DPF off and a new tune. But I was thinking you wanted to keep the DPF or most commonly know as the DFE(Diesel Fuel Eater)  

My 2008 F250 6.4 SUPERCAB LONG-BED 4X2 with 3,73 gears only has 241 miles, I check the computer to see my MPG and WTF, The MOTHER FLECTHING truck is only giving me 9.2 MPG !!! That's B U L L-S H I T, my 1999 F250 7.3 was giving me 15.5 to 19.0 MPG, and I drove that truck like I stole it, with A/C always on, and with traffic. I talked with the FORD tech, he said I have to break the truck in, and then I will get about 12.0 MPG, If that's the case I mite just forget the keys in the truck while stopping by THE BAD PART OF TOWN ?????  

i get to 13 to 14 and i have 28000 on it now f250 with the 373 gears  

HI guys, I hand calculated the 2008 F250 and got 14.029 MPG, BUT I want more !! Also I been doing my homework, and the best tuner out there is SPARTAN !!!  

the guy at the tire store has one and he said and i quote the mechanic said drive harder and it will get better mileage he tried it and said it worked for him dont know how much it improved but give it a try. I dont see how it would help but its worth a try dont you think

Use an SCT Livewire with Extreme Tune & DPF Delete, increase will be between 25 - 30%  

HI aerod 5.9, I been hearing some negative crap about the SCT livewire, people say, the shifting is not smooth, and MPG aren't that good from the SCT, I've heard to go with the SPARTAN tuner !!!  

sct is definetly the way to go with a 6.0, however a 6.4 spartan is the way to ***

MY O8 550 IS GETTING 8.5 MPGPULLING 10OOO# . GETTING 9 MPG EMPTY . DONT SEEM TO MATTER HOW I DRIVE . MY 99 7.3 F350 GETS 14-15 LOADED OR EMPTY . I WOULD BE HAPPY IF I COULD GET 10 -12 MPG ANY SUGGESTIONS?
