See if they'll throw in an airbag suspension, too. I got one on my '08 longbed and man it drives like a dream even on bumpy roads.

no probs with trans or the 5.9l in this year what about the egr thing i have been reading about lately

what about an "04" 2500 4x4 quad cab short bed lifted 6spd with 47k on it. the clutch is gone but otherwise it is in great shape. is it worth 14k??? jeffnvegas lektric@msn.com

Jeff,
No, not really because it sounds like someone tore up that truck. Should they be beaten for it? .... Yeah they should especially if the rest of the truck is still nice, but that's a discussion for another thread.
At 47k the clutch shouldn't be shot unless its been abused. Check for tire soot from burn-outs in the rear wheel wells and then the U-joints for slop/play. Also check for any non-OEM installed tow packages.
