Hey guys and gals,
I've been reading the forum topics for awhile and have decided to dive into a Cummins HD. The low financing (0%)that Crysler is offering for the HDs is very enticing. I was just wondering if this is common practice, or something that I should jump on. Thanks for all the responses.

the 0% thing has been around for awhile, i think its the truck manufacturer last resort to still be able to sell big trucks with the outrageous prices of gas and diesel fuel. but to get the 0% rate they advertize ur credit needs to be pretty much perfect to get that rate. they always forget to mention that part in the advertisements.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm just trying to decide whether to buy one while they still are offering the rate, or wait till the next one. Yeah, I know what you mean about "not all will qualify for this rate" jargon. My credit is in the high sevens.

If you can qualify for it and afford to put anykind of "decent" down payment down it really helps keep your payments down

I picked up an '08 for around 13k off sticker plus with trading in my '03 it'll cost me less than the '03 did 15 months ago.

See if you can make a sweet deal, I did and my payments are around 425 a month.

Yeah. All the carmakers are hurtin' right now, so there are plenty of great deals out there if you've got good enough credit.
