I just installed a BANKS powerpack system, new high pressure oil pump and regulator, and two rebuilt injectors.  Truck ran for about 500 miles GREAT...  I kept smelling diesel from the front.  The short of it is I have been pumping my fuel into my cooling system and and out the res.  Does anyone have a clue to what went wrong...?  Head gasket(s) cracked head, pinched O-ring on injector.. Thanks

could be any one of those. my guess would be the o-rings on the new injectors.

Thanks,  I have to start there in the teardown process anyhow. I wasn't sure if there were any water ports near the injectors for the fuel to be pressurized by the seals and into it.  I will find out more as I do the work.  As for the Powerpack, I should have put it in years ago.  What a big difference without buying head bolts, Highflow injectors, mods.  This will give me what I want for working the truck without going into raceing. my 95 7.3 has balls now.  It took 9 nights to install, everyday after work and Saturday.  Hagle with them on the price if you go that route.

Well, it's not the O'rings on the injectors.  I didn't think it would be, I have changed them in my sleep.  I know I have a blown head gasket or cracked head.  Hopefully gasket.  I have to disconnect the fuel lines but don't have the tool that slides into the disconnects. Have you done that before?  How much were your head studs and where'd you get them.
The reason the truck is blown is my son took it to Hollister hills with his friends. I told him not to 4-by in it and not to romp on it.  I see all sorts of mud under and in places I haven't had mud before.  He blew the heads. Twin turbo on yours must be pretty fast and lots of torque?

yeah havent had it on a dyno every time i seem to metion it something stupid breaks on it like the starter, abs sensor, had a flat once, never fails. but with how much i put into it i could have made twice the power with a cummins. but i like my 7.3 makes them dodge boys look twice

I have a 97 power stroke that has 320,000 give or take a few miles the other day it started running like it was running out a fuel but it had to full tanks. Is their a  eletric fuel take on the truck? It does alot of white smoke when it acts up, it runs fine untill every thing warms up.

the 7.3 will blow white smoke when its first started thats just raw fuel being burned till it warms up. as for acting like its running out of fuel change your fuel filter and when you change that theres a little tiny screen inside the fuel bowl that can get covered with stuff. so take a q-tip and clean that as best you can
