LOOKING FOR INSIGHT ON INSTALLING ONE OF THESE UNITS TO MY 6.7 CUMMINS, DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT A LACK OF LUB OR WILL THIS NOT UPSET THE BALENCE? I REMEMBER DOING THIS AS A BOY IN THE 70'S WITH GAS BUT IS IT DIFFERENT WITH DIESEL? ANY HELP WILL BE GRATEFUL

Hey bud, haven't done any systems one on a 6.7 yet, but I have installed Snow stage 2 kits on Dmaxes and 5.9 CR's. The difference is very noticeable especially if you are seeing high egt's. The power increase can save you fuel if you remain at the same throttle pos. when it activates. I saw a 200 degree drop on dmax and 300 on the Cummins. Lubrication isn't an issue b/c the methanol burns before it completes the combustion sequence and the water will evap from a vapor immediately after. All of the installs I've performed, have received the 2 largest jets. The Cummins uses most of the 1 gal reservoir towing 200 miles in mountains with a Phat shaft 62 set @ 45 psi. The controller is set to begin @ 25psi and 100% spray @ 40psi. The dmax set points are begin @ 12 psi and 100% @ 35psi using garret VG turbo. The Cummins motors seem to be overquenched easily, but the Dmaxes burn it quite fast. You can also run just water without the meth to run cooler and not add much power for safety. There was a 2-4 psi boost increase on Cummins and a faster boost rise but no max increase noticed on the Dmax.
