I was pulling out of work the other day, and my LB7 just flat out stopped, no sputtering, just stopped like somebody turned the key off. I've checked all the fuses, and have plenty of fuel in the tank. Can somebody point me in the next direction. My truck is a 2002 Sierra 2500 ext cab short bed, all I have done to it is a 5in" Turbo Back and a K&N Intake system. Please help, as I am now stranded.

Alcos are the only diesel's for me.

I have checked all of the fuses, and primed the fuel filter, I was able to get a little bit of fuel to come out, but thats it, its still not firing.

I had an '02 sierra.  Did the same thing.  Left me stranded in VA as I was about to leave for home in MI.  The dealer down there said they did lots of work on it,  other times they said they did nothing and it just started working.  After driving it home, it happened about 5 more times. Was towed about 4 times. Each time dealers (3 different ones) replaced stuff that wasn't covered by warrenty, costing me a few hundred bucks each time. The only part I can remember was a battery, which they had checked (separated) the time before and said was good.  One time they tried to blame it on fuel.  This all started at about 70K miles.  After 3 or 4 months of this, and about 5k miles, I traded it in on an '06 LBZ. Dealers weren't getting anywhere with it.  Other folks I talked to thought the injectors were the problem and the dealers didn't want to replace them because it was a big job on those trucks compared to the newer ones.  Others said it was probably the injection pump.  Sorry I'm not more help.  I gave up on it.  Was almost enough to make me look at Fords.  My LBZ has been great though.  Good luck.

I would check the power at the fuel pump next time the truck acts like this if it has power next would be the fuel pump it may have a short in it also, AND I WOULD NOT THINK THAT REAL DIESEL TECHS AT A DEALER SHIP WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM CHANGING INJECTORS ON A STOCK TRUCK, it should not be that hard as many as checy and gmc have brought in the past if that was the problem it sounds like they had a bunch of under idiots working on muddiver and your truck. For somebody that does this day in and day out it would not be a problem, My buddy has a 02 duramax and it has had injectors twice by a local dealership he had no problem with them the only time he had a problem was when the trans would not shift it was cause he had only changed out the outer filter not the inner filter also it fixed the problem.   Maybe this helps a little
