What have u guys experienced with the edge juice? does it give good power/smoke and does it protect the truck like it says? does the turbo timer work off of egts or a time delay? can EFI live or other power adders/modules be added on additionally down the road or will that start blowin stuff up? Thanks for the help.

Hey BlackBetty, I talked to service manager at a chevy dealership and he told me that they were getting alot of problems with trucks being brought in for work that had edge products. I got me a bullydog pmt which seems to work great.

I've had an edge evolution on my '06 LBZ since it was new.  It has about 57K on it now. I've had no problems with the truck that would have anything to do with the programmer. The evolution doesn't have a turbo timer. Comes with the egt probe so you can watch your temp for a minute shut it down when the the temp gets below 400. Doesn't take long.  The evolution makes a very noticable difference in power, and throws black smoke when you get on it hard. I run mine in tow mode or performance mode all the time and as long as I control my right foot I get about 2mpg improvement over stock.  I haven't tried other programmers so I can't compare them.  I don't believe you could add another without pulling the evolution program first. You can stack by adding a module that plugs in-line in the cables.  I haven't tried that either.

Use Edge only on Dodge!! Will cause issues on other makes.

Hey bud, I installed quite a few Juice modules on Dmaxes. I have less problems with them than I do with Banks (similar module design). The power gain is average for a module, not bad overall. Actually, one of the better ones. You will be pleased with the power for having an unmodified drive train. You cant add much more power than the Edge w/o trans upgrade anyway. The unit does protect the vehicle, so long as the parameters are set correctly in the Attitude monitor(defueling, max egt., etc.). You can stack in the future with others, but be careful, the necessary, proper fueling and trans. upgrades are costly!

I agree with Richie's Truck and Auto, and to clarify we are to seperate companies LOL. If you want the turbo timer try the Juice platinum the only thing is you have to use the Attitude monitor it doesn't work without one of Edges' monitors.
