Part two was diesel fleet vehicles. It was a short one, so some of you may have missed it. It was a few months before the snow plow story.

I'm looking into buying a deisel and doing some car hauling. Where's a good place to pick up some work, or even ask questions about the industry?

Im not sure where yall live but i always make extra money haulin hay and cows for anyone i can, whenver im not haulin my own. Im not gettin rich but i usually dont go further than an hour or two from the house, so it evens out. It at least covers fuel and wear and tear and puts a little jingle in my pocket, every little bit helps, so if you live near any farms, see if they need anything hauled, some farmers dont have trucks or trailers big enough to pull heavy loads.
2005 Dodge Ram 3500 4 Door 4Wd Longbed 6SPD manual, Silverline 4 inch exhaust,ATS Performance Exhaust Manifold, K&N Intake,CFM Intake Manifold, Edge Juice w/Attitude, Recon Smoked Roof and Fender Lights, 285/70/17 Firestone M/Ts, MUCH MUCH MORE to come, one day...when im not so BROKE.....

I have some customers that make good money hauling campers from camper manufactures. One friend of mine hauls campers from Southern ill to Florida with his wife, they both pull campers to florida and then tows wifes truck back saving fuel and geting to spend time together.
A real toy for big boys.I installed a 5.9-B Cummins, P-7100 inline stage one pump, banks cooler,5in exh, removable air bags for towing, 1in body lift,2in hanger lift,2 12in elect fans, customized mounting,(eng mounts, intake piping, trans adapter etc) Runs on home made bio-fuel at 70 cents a Gal.

you guys need to do your research better, driver liscense classes are based on weight and combo weight like truck and trailer lenght has nothing to do with it. been in the hotshot field for 8 yrs now. Also noticed how you guy's left out about how much it takes to get started, start with about 2 grand and then go up from there
I burn more diesel and run more miles in a week the most of you people do in a month. ctds that have been used 97 3500, 98.5 3500, 98.5 3500,01 3500, 03 3500. those that are being used 06 3500, 07 3500. and yea these trucks earn their living
