My company is parking their diesel tugs & belt-loaders, and going electric. The good, is their quiet & no pollution, the bad, they have to charge all night, & batteries are expensive as S H I T.

Yep. Out here, the port of Long Beach is going to all electrics and CNG-powered trucks for in-port transit. Can't say I totally blamed them, but I think a lot of diesel's bad rap is from the old, unrestricted diesels from the '80s, rather than the new, clean models.
