DIESEL TRACTOR PULLING.... PULLS, TRACTORS, A TEAM'S BUILDUP, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE....
MORE UPPER MIDWEST AND EAST COAST STUFF (YOU KNOW WE DID START THIS TREND).... (NEED TO BE GOOD WELL PUT ON LOCAL PULLS THAT ARE WORTH SEEING, WE BRING IN 120-150 TRUCKS AT HILLSBORO OHIO EVERY YEAR AND THATS BY WORD OF MOUTH)
GARAGE BUILT TRUCKS BY GUYS THAT DONT HAVE A FAMOUS NAME.... (I.E. BANKS, SCHEID, HAISLEY, GARMON, NOT THAT THEY DONT HAVE NICE TRUCKS BUT GIVE THE SMALL GUY SOME CREDIT....)
REAL TECH....NOT "LETS BOLT ON AN AIR FILTER AND PLUG A BOX IN" TYPE TECH....IM TALKING TWINS, REBUILDS, SUSPENSION, THE REAL STUFF....
NO MORE SHOW TRUCKS FOR GODS SAKE.... WHO CARES IF THEY CAN PUT 14 INCHES OF LIFT UNDER A FORD SUPERDUTY AND PLUG A BANKS 6 GUN IN, ID RATHER SEE A BEAT UP RUSTY 12 VALVE WITH STEEL WHEELS LAYING DOWN 600+ HORSEPOWER ON 40k A YEAR JOB, AND BE A DAILY DRIVER....YOU CAN ALSO HAVE GOOD LOOKING TRUCKS BUT WHEN ALOT OF THE TRUCKS ARE SHOWBOATS IT MAKES THE SMALL GUY FEEL LIKE HIS TRUCK AINT WORTH BEING IN A MAGAZINE....THERE ARE ATTAINABLE TRUCKS, BUT THEN YOU GOT SHOW QUEENS....
sorry for throwing you under the bus Jason....just sick of the "if you didnt spend 100K your not in" BS i see in so many magazines....

I agree with a lot of what has already been said. Please no more show trucks!! Some of the best and most powerful trucks in the u.s are built by guys who work 5-6 days a week make only 40k or less. Just because they own a company and have unlimited $$ to dump into a truck doesnt make it diesel power material. If you look at your last 12 issues how many of those trucks are daily driven, used for work etc. show some love to the little guy, I work at a dealership and do all my own work. Pick 1 truck a month that was built not bought. just a 2 page spread with some pics mods done by the owner pics being used in real situations. Your last issues had a 2 page spread just to show the chevelle with a title. I honestly think 90% of the people who read your truck are your normal avg joe and thats what the mag should be geared to.

I burn more diesel and run more miles in a week the most of you people do in a month. ctds that have been used 97 3500, 98.5 3500, 98.5 3500,01 3500, 03 3500. those that are being used 06 3500, 07 3500. and yea these trucks earn their living

there should be ALOT more work trucks, but dont take the show trucks out completely, it gives me somethin to shoot for, not that it would stay that nice, it would get dented and dirty, but its all good. Its not perfect but its definitely the best diesel mag out there.

I say more conversions and conversions using something other than Cummins 6bt (not that i have anything against the 6bt) I'm talking Cummins 4bt, Detroit 2 stroke, and smaller diesels such as John Deere or Allis Chamlers. They'll probably be harder to find, but I think it's more enjoyable to read about out of the ordinary power plants. Also, more real trucks built by people that make a living by doing someting other than building trucks.

My top 5 in what to see of more for me would be... 1. Tech: I enjoy reading up on the numerous different problems that people face with their trucks, and what you figure could be the problem. I could always use the info in the event that something may happen to me or a friend. 2. On that note #2 would be the Parts Shootout: As much as its good to know how to fix something, its always good to know which part does best in each application (turbos, intakes etc...) I want to give Kudos to your recent 'Budget Build-ups' you did with the 7.3L and the September issue's 6.0L Powerstrokes I hope to see them continue with all the different makes over time (Personally the 6.5L, but thats just me ) 3 would be the Events: Kind of a real-world test and shows how much effort and pride people show to have their truck compete for gold 4. Show trucks: Sure dents and scratches are stories to tell (Been there, done that lol) but there's nothing quite like coming up to a truck that has that 'unique' look just from a newly designed hood or 'stand alone' rims. And last but not least 5. Engine swaps: I had an old '86 Dodge Ramcharger that would have been awesome to drop a 5.9 Cummins in (You guys had a feature awhile back on a red Ramcharger  ) Hopefully am not sounded negative but I was never one to be able to type lol I think your magazine is awesome the way it is but there are always new ideas right?
