I have an '01 F350 with a 7.3 powerstroke in it. I have a K&N intake kit. I recently installed a Quadzilla chip. Now when I pull my 5th wheel the Service Engine Soon light comes on. It runs fine, but I would like to know if I am doing any damage? I also just installed a 4" Turbo Back Exhaust on it. I have not worked the engine since I put the exhaust on. The light goes out when I stop and let it idle for a few minutes. Has anyone else had this problem? Also my truck has started stalling on me. When I hit a good bump it kills. Starts right back up. Anyone have this problem as well? If these ?'s are repetative I appologize. I am not much for reading forums =}. Thanks for the help!

Yeah. The stalling during bumps is probably bad contacts. The SES light sounds to me like an overboost code. Are you loosing power all of the sudden when the light comes on? It may also be a "low desired ICP" code.

Ok I will have to check all my connections. It does not lose power when the SES light comes on. Runs like a champ! I will have to see if I can get the codes. I travel a lot so I haven't had the chance. What is a "low desired ICP"? Thanks again for the help!

It's your computer commanding more oil pressure than your HPOP can supply. Making pressure fall off. Nothing big to worry about. Pull codes and let me know what you get.
