HELLO TO ALL MY FELLOW DIESEL ENTHUSIASTS. I AM FROM PUERTO RICO.
I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT 2 TYPES OF DIESEL ENGINES.
1- MACK'S E9 V8 DIESEL ENGINE (VERY POWERFULL WHEN MODIFIED) USED IN TRACTOR PULLING SERIES. HOT ROD SEMI CLASS.
2- CATERPILLAR 3408 V8 ENGINE (TRUCK ENGINE) DID IT CAME IN TRUCKS????? OR IS IT A MARINE ENGINE????????

believe any v cat motor is either marine or used in the oilfield for generators and coolers
I burn more diesel and run more miles in a week the most of you people do in a month. ctds that have been used 97 3500, 98.5 3500, 98.5 3500,01 3500, 03 3500. those that are being used 06 3500, 07 3500. and yea these trucks earn their living

Yes the 3408 CAT v8 was found in trucks so was the 3208 but mostly in light commercial trucks and tractors as well
