I still cant decide which diesel to get. I want something in the 2004-2008 range. I will not be towing much but dirt bikes, I will lift it with 35's. I want the best MPG. Also I live in california, so yeah. If you have real world MPG I would love to hear it.

If you're looking for comfort and decent fuel economy, I'd look at an LBZ Duramax, (2006, 2007-Classic bodystyle) or a 5.9L Dodge Cummins. The GM will be a little smoother, but you might get a little better mileage with the Dodge. GM will ride nicer, too. My father-in-law has an LBZ, and even towing a pretty good sized fully-loaded toy-hauler trailer (prob about 10,000 lbs.) he gets about 14.
