I've been with Diesel Power for about a year now. I think it would be nice to combine performance and efficiency just like Johnathan Goodwin is doing.

Yep if you write a blog I'll post it. This could be the start of something new here online. Guest blogs and you're the first. So it better be interesting (no pressure or anything).

About 6 or 7 months ago I read a post about some new additive for the diesels. I contacted the supplier and we talked for a while and finally decided to use my truck as a test. I'm not the kind of person that believes everything to come down the pike. So I went into this being very skeptical. I have a 2001 Ford Superduty crewcab with the 7.3 and auto with 4:11 gears. The truck had 144,000 miles on it when I bought it, just before hearing about this product. This was, and still is, my first diesel. I have changed a few cosmetic things, and the engine has a 4" full exhaust, an Edge EZ module, a full flow air filter, pillar gages. I added a Scan Gauger II to track my mileage. At first I was getting 13.2 for mileage around town. Then I met Dan Wilson of Lubrication Specialties, WWW.lubespecinc.com, and we decided to do some testing. First off, I have no connection to Mr. Wilson or his company except that he sent me some free samples to try. As I said earlier, I was getting 13.2 MPG. After about 6 months and 1600 miles, I don't drive it that much, I was getting 19.6 MPG and I think it would have kept going up, except I bought a 5Th wheel trailer. I was keeping the 19.6 even around town. This has surpassed what Dan told me to expect. I have just ordered a new bottle of his RevX Distance+ because we are going on a 2500 mile trip and I don't want to run out. All it takes is 1 oz. per tank full per 25 gallons. I have read some of the other testimonials about how other people had problems with their trucks and this RevX has helped them. My truck has always ran fine with no problems so I can't comment on that. But I can and do recommend that my friends try this, and you can be sure I'll be spreading the word as I travel. This is in my own words and I am receiving anything (except the original kit) for my endorsement. Contact Dan Wilson at 616-364-1834 or d.wilsonlsi@yahoo.com or go to his web site www.lubespecinc.com. You wont be sorry. Roger M. northern Az.

That's over my head you'll have to write a proposal to David Kennedy.

Would you talk about the tool that cuts a key for the crankshaft pulley? You can do it with the engine in the truck. Battery relocation, coolant resovoir relocation and programming.

I don't exactly know what that tool is that you're talking about. Would you like me to research it?
Aren't you doing Project 300? I don't know much about IDI's, but I know some guys that do. What's the plans?? I am looking at buying a 93 7.3 IDI that I found for 500 bucks, but it's got overheating problems... Seems like it's blowing coolant out of the intake....

You are saying a shot of this stuff raises your MPGs by 6.4? 67% increase in MPGs that seems like a stretch. If it is true I would like to see DP Mag do a story on this stuff.

If your talking about my post, Then yes, thats exactly what I'm saying. With no changes to my truck during this test, I went from 13.2 MPG to 19.6 MPG. My truck, a 2001 Ford Superduty w/7.3 and auto and 4:10 gears. It has stock size tires on it. The changes that were done before I bought it were a full 4" exhaust, an Edge EZ module, a full flow air filter, pillar gages. I added a Scan Gauge II to track my mileage. Anyone who wants to come to N. Az. to see for yourself come on ahead. I'm taking a trip of about 2000 miles pulling my 25' fifth wheel trailer. I will post my results when I get home. For more info on the RevX products, contact Dan Wilson at 616-364-1834 or d.wilsonlsi@yahoo.com or go to his web site www.lubespecinc.com. The original person who got me interested in Dan's stuff is 'smokintires'. I also would like to see an article on Dan's products in the DP mag. Roger

The tool cuts a key into the crankshaft because from the factory only the bolt holds the pulley in place. When the aditional stress of the supercharger is added the the factory bolt only method fails. The tool allows you to cut a key without removing the engine. I haven't seen this tool or procedure in person.
Project 300 is getting new calipers, rotors, pads, tires, shocks, wheel bearings, differential fluid, and stainless steel brake lines. I am planning on turning it into a mild prerunner. I would also like to add a Cyclone waste heat engine.

I'm definately interested in seeing a article about this Revx product. If it really works it could be the next big thing in the diesel world. How can we get it tested by Diesel Power Mag? Who do we contact? I and anyone with a diesel would love to see a full test with several trucks under different situations. Let's get everyone to ask for a test article about this stuff and see if we can get it in the magazine ASAP.

As I said, contact Dan Wilson at 616-364-1834 or d.wilsonlsi@yahoo.com or go to his web site www.lubespecinc.com. He is very easy to talk to and he will work with you. My test lasted about 6 or 7 months, and I went about 1600 miles. I don't drive my truck all that much, I bought it because I knew that we would be getting a trailer soon and be able to travel. Call Dan and talk to him. Tell him Roger in Cottonwood Arizona told you about his product. I too would like to see a test to find out if my results were a fluke or not.

I forgot to mention that my 01 Superduty is a crewcab, 2wd, not lifted, and driven conservatively (most of the time).
