I have a deutz bf4m2011 in a skid loader that I want to increase the rpm on. The engine currently runs at 2500 rpm and I would like it to run at the manufacturers recommended max constant speed of 2800 rpm. This is to increase the hydraulic flow to my attachments. I have an increased capacity airfilter (50% larger volume, I replaced the whole canister, and tubing). I have an additional hydraulic cooler (loftness coolflow) and the lines and fittings are all designed to take the additional flow. The pumps are direct drive and rated at 3000 rpm (max constant). I believe I can just adjust the throttle stop and achieve what I need. I know the engine has a centrifugal governor that should prevent it from going over 2800 rpm. I would like to increase the engines power to reduce recovery time when I stall the attachment if possible (without major mods). I also realize that there is trade offs for everything that you change. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a governor spring that needs to be changed for it to run properly at the desired speed. I suggest you contact your local Deutz dealer or distributor for assistance with this. Since I do not know where you are located, I suggest going to the following page to find who is closest... http://www.deutzamericas.com/distributors/index.htm
