How many is too many?

I am looking at buying a used Ford F250 diesel. This will be my first diesel.
I don't want to pay $50K for a truck, so I am looking at new-er trucks with higher mileages.
Like the one I looked at today, a 2008 with 89K miles. Is that to many for a diesel engine? I have always heard that a truck like that is just getting broke in.

Simply, how many miles is to many for a 1, 2, or 3 year old truck?
OR, What is the highest mileage you would consider buying?

If the price is right, buy it up. But you you can find '05-'07's with less miles for less money and better fuel economy.

ABSOLUTE highest-mileage diesel truck I'd consider buying used is 150,000. That's not to say there might be good ones with higher mileage than that, but that's about my comfort limit.

Highest mileage is all according to price and knowledge... If I didn't know much about the vehicle, I'd say 70k miles... That way you have time to learn about it before too much starts wearing out.
