Have a 379 Pete that has LOST  four clutch brakes in 3 months. They are the two piece type. They stay on a few weeks then just fall out going down the road. Never seen this before. Any ideas on the problem without pulling the trans and clutch to take a look?

It could be the brand of the clutch brake, which style are you using? there is one that has a pin and the other has teeth. from what i've seen the one with the teeth dont last long

The haldex clutch brake replacement is the ticket. it is hinged on a beefy pin and has another pin to lock it in place you just have to make sure that the lock pin ingages fully, I have used the thicker one on trucks with damaged faces with very good results, I can get the part number if you need it
Good luck
