whats your truck get for mpg

whats it getting and what all is done to it?

23 1/2 on a the highway and 20 1/2 in town

Thats better than mine...I have 395/75/16 (39.3in) Mickeys, the engine(6.0) has head studs, egr delete, ITP Reg. Return Fuel System, stock straight piped, and an SCT X3 tuned by Elite Diesel which I keep on the tow setting. Im getting around 17-20 highway and around 15 in town.Hoping to someday get intake and exhaust and the cfm+....  

20 mpg city 24 mpg hwy.
#8 tst fuel plate , 230 hp 605 tq.
4in exhaust no cat.
3.55 gears.  

10, a whopping 10 on the freeway. 10 in town. 10 on a train, 10 in a plane......... 97 f250 ca truck, 4.10 gears, D60 conversion, skye mfg. 3.5"shackle reversal kit,1.5" lift national springs,315 bfg allterrains, afe intake,ats wastegated turbo, ats intercooler,turbo back diamond eye exhaust, dp tuner,itp diesel regulated fuel return and fuel bowl delete,electric fuel pump from 99-03 superduty, single shot 160cc injectors(had splitshots), john wood auto built trans, 235k miles, and a whopping 10 miles to a gallon.  

oh yeah, a 17degree hpop

that is exactly where i live. actually got 11 with the wife driving it on the way to the drags saturday.  

I'm hoping to gain some more MPGs by the end of the week. I'm having my tranny rebuilt with some goodies from Suncoast. I was getting about 16.5 city and 20 hwy with a slipping trans. I live in Raleigh NC and we have lots of traffic and lots of traffic lights that are set to make you stop at every light you come to. It's really great for milage! NOT! I'll post and let you guys know what the tranny upgrade does for MPGs after a couple of tanks of fuel.

hey ryanbyman hows that egr delete kit working out, i considered putting it on my  06 550 but am skeptical on blocking vital components off.  

I get 16mpg Period. Banks 4 in exaust with power elbow no muffler.Also volant cool air intake, BD wastegate, banks turbo wheel and big boost.Hypertech programmer on stage 3. Auto tranny 3:73 gears. I have amsoil from front to back.F350 7.3 2002.  

03 f250 w/6.0... normal 15... worst 12.5 .. best almost 18, I had a turbo that was failing and wasnt getting full boost.

truck is mostly stock I have a afe air filter(stock intake), run AMS oil.

All I have right now is a Banks intake kit. My o4.5 Ram gets 20-26. I drive 55 on the way to work w/ only a few stop lights. I'm hoping to get more when I get my edge tuner working.
