why dont you do some upgrades to add power instead of trying to get it to waste fuel
I burn more diesel and run more miles in a week the most of you people do in a month. ctds that have been used 97 3500, 98.5 3500, 98.5 3500,01 3500, 03 3500. those that are being used 06 3500, 07 3500. and yea these trucks earn their living

AFE cold air intake
MBRP 4 or 5 inch exhaust (I chose 5inch straight piped on my 99 F350, no muffler)
Edge Juice with Attitude programmer or SCT Livewire
I also installed the X wheel inside my turbo. Spools up a little faster
Note that the smoke is pretty much unused fuel. So if you can do some mods and get rid of the smoke you will be running at pretty much full potential. Later mods should be a new tranny which I chose Brian's Trucks Shop, new injectors, propane, and aa aftermarket intercooler. Check into a new turbo also. Remember, none of this is cheap by any means. I have $8000 in my mods and I'm not even close to where I need to be. I also tow a 40 foot 5th wheel toy hauler that weighs 18000lbs plus when loaded down. Mine isn't only a toy but is also my workhorse.
