are there any examples of a VW TDI adapted to a longitudinal (rear wheel drive) application????? if so what is the link to see it....or do you think that it could be done????...im thinking in a miata or something...also what kind of power can be made in the 1.8 or 1.9 TDI's ive never seen anything other than an intake good for like 10 hp and a programer that makes about 30 lb-ft more....what else is out there...show me some sites or something please and thankyou in advance

Well, I don't know how much of it would be adaptable to a Miata, but I know there's a company called Acme Adapters out there that does TDI swaps into Suzuki Samurais (which are RWD/4WD).
