well some of your statements arent the best either no one here said that the cummins was the most powerfulest. we also dont really care about a stationary motor and how powerful it is. save that for a different forum. alot of us also dont spout a lot crap either. that is over on the duramax vs ford vs cummins section

Okay, fair enough.
Powerfulest is not a word. Powerfulness is. What you were looking for was the phrase "most powerful".
What do you mean by stationary motor? All motors are stationary, beside for the internal parts motion. Engines are mounted to frames, attached to transmissions and some type of final drive system (IE driveshafts to axles to wheels, etc.) Engines move vehicles/machines/vessels by the power they generate. The engine(s) remain solid in the vehicle. They (the engine) don’t move themselves. There geographic position changes as a direct result of there energy output, but they don’t move in the same sense that a person walks, fish swims, birds fly. So you can call any or every engine a stationary engine. They dont have feet and just move the pistons up and down for the hell of it.
The Wartsila-Sulzer Inline-14 cyl engine(if that was the engine you are referring to) is mounted in a ships structure (frame), attached to a transmission, attached to a propeller, which moves the ship, the ship takes the engine with it (duh).
The Cummins in a Dodge Ram (for ex.) is mounted to a frame, attached to a transmission, attached to a transfer case, attached to a driveshaft, attached to an axle, attached to wheels. The engine makes power and the whole unit (truck) moves. The engine included, just like the ship and its engine.
I suppose you could call an electrical generation engine a stationary engine, but you could install the proper parts to that engine to make it self mobile. Mount it to a frame; give it driveshaft and wheels, etc.
So what are you taking about???? Please explain.

You mean the CAT 797F? The 400 ton haul truck I already mentioned?!?! Ha.
Nobody care to discuss them? Maybe not here, but their operators do, people who are involved with there product do, people who just like them do.
Yes, I'll give thorough explanations about things I care about. If you wanna talk about interior design or squirrel populations in Russia then I will give you one or two word answers...

yea and thats why all the oilfield hotshotters and rodeo people run ctd. trust me if the powerstroke was such a wonderful dependable motor that got a descent fuel mileage then i would own one but i like to atleast get double digits towing a load.plus i dont need to be sitting on the side of the road wondering why my headgaskets are blown. since when did the great country of canada donate to the us goverment tax money. sorry most of the us diesel is processed in california, texas and louisana.you smokegun just have little chip on your shoulder because you need to double check what you state in your post didnt see anything about any cat products and if want to sink to your level i can give you some one or two word answers to so grow up and go play with your little blue oval. thats probably lifted to compensate for the short comings mother nature gave you

Man I hate to crush the Ford guys, but ComsumerReports.org came out with their "Best/Worst" list .... and the F-250 (turbodiesel, 4WD) topped the "Worst" list for Ford.
Ouch.

ok all of you all texasss guys that think dodge is it,deos 4000lbs of bull *** reallly afect the brain that much.pbr hillybilly fuel companies must really like you, spending all of your moneie on fuel.it's probally our fuel also(CANADIAN) you're burning. the loads yuo guys are talking about isn't heavy come up here and see what's king of the road.also the trucks that are shipped up here must be different because we don't put air bags in unless we're going up with them.the guy with thef450 with a cat in it better check his truck out because ford doen't offer a cat in a small truck like that, only the 6.7,sorry man.pbr dud if you thought that ,that truck was areal truck with a cat in it you better learn some things about ford.if you could burn *** in your truck you texaaasa guys would have it made.if you want to come to Canada go north you will get there 26hours north of texas.like my spiling hillybillys iwill read comments later

pbr dude watch your news and read the paper.35% of your oil comes from Canada as of 2008 and going up from there on.i'm a pipe fitter by trade and i work in the oil business and i know.right now there is a pipe line going from Fort Mcmurray Alberta to Chicago.it will be ready by 2010 in Canada in your country i don't know.the rest of your oil comes from countries like the far east and from Venezwalia.like your government has said that the people of the US has been way to little for fuel and it has to change.they don't want to rely on foreign oil like saudi oil so they want ours and our *** government is basically giving it to you. by the way i aslo like repeating myself as you do to-you comments at the end of your blog.

No *** the Cummins B-series (or any Cummins for that matter)engine is a better engine than the Powerstroke line. I already said that VERY CLEARLY!!! I did mention a 400ton haul truck in a early post. Now, I didnt define it as a CAT product so your right.
My Fords not lifted at all pal and I would have gotten a Dodge Cummins if I could have waited to fined a nice one around here, but there were all rusted out and beaten up.
I dont have any chip on my shoulder. Not about this. Its nice to know how mature you are though, with your little "short comings" statement.
It doesnt matter though, as far as im concernded you dont even exist.
Have a good day.

So I guess $500 million in warranty work that Navistar stuck Ford with is a good thing?
And you wonder why Ford dropped Navistar like a hot potato.
