I am wanting to know how hard of a job is it to convert my dt466 rotary to inline injection pump.  I have a f1954, 79' year model, it has an inline pump but engine seized up.  I just bought a 1982 s1954 truck to use its engine in my dump truck.
My engine is stamped 210 hp on the inline and I was told the s series truck is 190hp(rotary pump).  thanks for the help.

It's a very easy swap. You have all the parts there. It's just a basic parts swap at that point, and you dont need to swap the timing gear case. Once you get it stabbed in there, set the timing up to about 17*. You could go as high as 19, if you have the fuel screw and gov springs adjusted.
