i have an 86 f-250 with a 302 that blew up and it doesnt have the power that i would like so i have no intent to rebuild it. i recently bought a dodge truck with a 1st gen. cummins and would like to put it in my ford. i have looked at the fordcummins.com kits to put it in the ford and was wondering if these actualy work. any build tips would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Your best bet would be to talk to the guys over at FordCummins.com and ask them. There are quite a few of them on the road and they would have first hand knowledge of the kit, how it installed, and any other parts it would need.
