If it is a stock muffler yo wont get much if any rumble. i would suggest a good afte market one if you "have" to have a muffler. Hush power..etc...

hey. ya i just bought my first diesel a few months back. its a 99 powerstroke. i staright piped mine and put 5" turnouts from silverline on it. those are really nice stacks. its all stainless steel too. but if you leave the stock muffler on it probably wont be too too loud you might want to upgrade your muffler though if you want to leave one on. what type of truck is it? because my straightpiped powerstroke isnt that loud with out a muffler

i like both (turn outs and aussies)...i wanted aussies but grand rock i guess is a pain to order through b/c everything is backordered so i went with the silverline turnouts. plus they were a little cheaper. but is your 00 powerstroke a duallie or a single rear wheeled truck? to me it depends on the type of cab you have. if you have a reg cab i dont know as if aussies would look good on it or not...but look on like all the readers rides ad go on google images or something, somebody must have pictures of their powerstroke with aussies so you can compare the two
