MHP  Modernhorsepower.com  has introduced a TCM tune for the Dodge 6.7 6 Speed Auto.  68RFE trans.

I did the upgrade this week and can tell you this.

The shifts are a bit sooner.
The shifts are crisper and more precise.
For heavily Modified trucks with gobs of HP and torque, it's a great feature.  They raise the line pressure to prevent the clutch chatter when accelerating.

They claim the TCM tune is made to prolong the transmission life.

It's a bit pricey, but much better than loosing a trans!

Not me, I'm running the manual 6.  The amount of power it puts to the ground to move stuff is incredible.

After 18 Manual shift Dodge Diesels, I finally went with the 6 Speed auto.  Much easier on the ol' knees.  I used to run a small fleet of Dodges that were all manuals.  They did mostly highway so we'd get 300K out of a clutch.

The 68RFE is a good substitute and pulls well.  But with upwards of 500 HP and 3.42 gears, the trans needed some help.

This is actually a great idea
