Is there an upgrade for the front axle on a 1994 dodge ram 2500?

my 4 wheel drive will not stay in or work most of the time.
when it does work it kicks in and out.
i was wondering if there was a kit or a upgrade to get away
from the vaccum system?
94 dodge 2500 no mods just some upgrade parts for drivetrain

Yes Im not sure of the brand but someone does make a cable operated conversion that will give you positive engagement. You can also replace the whole thing with a on piece inner axle shaft from Yukon Gear. R u sure that the vac system is to blame. Often times the coupling ring in the disconnect will wear to the point that it will not stay engaged.

i just want to know that when i pull it in that it is going to work
i lived in idaho for 18 years and it get *** there and you need 4 wheel
drive
