Hello
How do I get my 7,3l Powerstroke to smoke? I have programmet with hypertech, but that get torqe and horsepower. Not smoke.

Why do you want it to smoke?
Did you know black smoke is unburned fuel, which means you're not using all the power you can?
Did you think posting here instead of in the "How To Smoke" forum would escape the wraith of those that know black smoke is bad?

dude that dudge of yours wont make any power until it smokes. what is it with you guys lately. do you honestly think a 7.3 can smoke that much with a chip alone......NO

You're ignorant... It WILL smoke a LOT with just a chip... Just not a crappy generic chip...

i have an 01 7.3 stroke, i made it single shot upgraded the injectors and installed an dp tuner, i tell you that thing smokes like a train.

What are you? 16?
And that IS a lot of smoke... I've been to multiple diesel events, modified quite a few trucks, and seen a lot of trucks that were poorly modified, and AD's in the right situation will smoke PLENTY.

just pour the fuel to it then it will blow a bunch of smoke

hey. i have a 99 powerstroke with 5inch stacks and a ts 6 poistion chip. i run the chip on level 6(140hp) and it blows a nice cloud of soot. id definately reccomend a ts chip.

10-4 i help put my buddies 7.3 together and should clear 450hp without an issue
225 single shots
modded stock turbo to 66 new exhaust housing
twin hpop
complete fuel system
hole 9 yards.
this is the fastest one i have wrenched on there are a few others

I have a 2000 ford diesel with a cold air intake and the Edge attidue juice (150)hp. it has no problem belching out smoke
