all right so before i was a diesel guy i loved imports and was going to get a miata because of the size and weight distribution and stuff but now i still want one just with a MAN-MOTOR a 3.9L 4BT cummins spinning to the tune of say 600-700hp.....anyone think thats possible to fit a 4BT in a miata i've never seen the motor in person so idk if it would fit or not.....any info or talk can help so please post what you think about this idea

Anything's possible with enough time & money, but the 4BT is one lump of an engine (big & heavy). Yes...I know there were some "Monster Miatas" with the Ford 5.0, and have been plenty of small-block conversions, but the 4BT is heavier than any of those motors. But hey, I'm not stopping you. Go for it!
Even thought it might not be as much of a "man motor" as the 4BT, I think a well-tuned VW TDI in a Miata would be pretty fun. Assuming you could adapt it to work in a longitudinal application.
