Cummins swap into a 76 Chevy Nova

What all is needed to swap a cummins in to a stock 76 nova? Witch cummins would be better for drag racin? What tranny do i use? What rear end is needed? How do i make the suspension and fram stronger? (its sub fram)I'm in no hurry to swap it cause i've got a baby om the way but i'd still like to startt getin parts together for the swap one day, and I'd like to still drive the car after all cummins is swaped in so !!!!!!!!!!!HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not gonna happen. You do know the Cummins engine (B series 5.9L) dry weight is slightly over a half ton? This means major mods to both the frame and suspension.
You're going to be better off with a Duramax if you want to build a drag racer in a Nova. It's lighter, doesn't sit as deep (overall height), and you could still get over 700 hp.

Yeah, a DMAX Nova would be pretty sweet! Although the Cummins is king for trucks, I think the Duramax is a better choice if you're doing a diesel swap for cars, in terms of weight and packaging.
