hey guys i recently bought a 02 dodge ram 2500 cummins automatic .i just put an edge ez programer, cfm + intake elbow, k&n cold air intake on it but i want to build it up to around 500 horsepower but i want to do it right so its reliable but still plenty of power. i am kind of bugeted but am willing to spend money to make it right. any suggestions on where to start? i am not a big smoke person the fastest diesels i've seen barely blow smoke, id like to keep mine tuned more power than smoke. thanks guys

cant remember if the edge you have has gauges if not get them first then start building from their , but your tranny will not hold that power without moding it frst. then go injectors and bigger turbo
I burn more diesel and run more miles in a week the most of you people do in a month. ctds that have been used 97 3500, 98.5 3500, 98.5 3500,01 3500, 03 3500. those that are being used 06 3500, 07 3500. and yea these trucks earn their living

Lose that K&N, too.  Get one of the oil free styles like S&B, AfE, AEM, etc.
