Are the ford excursions really a 1 ton? I own one and always knew they where a 3/4.

Some guy in the forums was building a excursion he got and said it was for sure a 1 ton. But then again what kind of family car is a heavy duty 1 ton, it would be to ruff.

About the only real difference between the 3/4 ton and 1 ton is the springs, specifically the addition of overloads.
