my stock injectors are having excess fuel bypass
so they are getting replaced or rebuilt
so now seems like as good a time as any to upgrade with bigger injector nozzles

No head studs yet

but i am running a stock turbo, AFE Intake, 4" turbo back exhaust, and a Juice/Attitude programmer

i figure 50hp nozzles are safe BUT could i go as far as 90hp nozzles with my current setup and keep EGTs reasonable if i dont run the programmer on a very high setting

also i plan to use dynomite diesel

I can definately see the 50hp injectors, but I'm gonna say no for the 90hp ones for two reasons:

First, anytime you add more fuel you'll need to add more air to burn it otherwise you'll get lots of black smoke.  At that point you're just wasting fuel, losing power, and getting higher than normal EGT's.

Second, you'll need to make sure you can deliver that much fuel to the injectors.  You should really consider either an upgraded CP3, or a dual CP3 setup.

Since you've got an AirDog already installed, getting fuel to either the upgraded or dual CP3's isn't an issue.

Definately get some gauges .... there really isn't a reason why you shouldn't have them.

would the stock CP3 pump be able to handle 50hp injectors without problems -----------------------------------------------------------

yea it will handle them fine except if you have the programmer on highest settting it mite drain the rail
I burn more diesel and run more miles in a week the most of you people do in a month. ctds that have been used 97 3500, 98.5 3500, 98.5 3500,01 3500, 03 3500. those that are being used 06 3500, 07 3500. and yea these trucks earn their living
