Im looking at buying a new set of injectors for my 24 valve and i was told marine were the best, but a friend of mine just told me marine will only cause high egts and lots of smoke. So heres my question to you: If marine injectors are so bad, then which injectors should i get then? im looking at about 110-150 range as my truck is just a toy and a daily driver. Thanks for the input guys

I would buy dynomite diesel injectors. I have a set of their 110s and love em. they dont haze they perform and they build them right. The marines were built with a duty load of near 90% that means that unless you intend to run your truck at W O T for 90% of the time its running then you dont want these. thats why they smoke and haze and make high egts, cause at part throttle there spray pattern leaves alot to be desired. I have a couple of buddies with dynomites one with 75s and one with 150s. for hot rodding and daily driving i think the 110s are the best the 75s are good too best for improved milage. But the 150s are a little much for the street they haze and can give unpredictable egts.

You could also think about Scheid Diesels Lightning injectors. Good power increase with out going over bored. Do you have a stock VP44?
"According to Scheid, its Lightning injectors (PN LIGHTNING00101) could add as much as 100 hp and would still allow our Dodge to tow without EGTs getting out of hand. The guys at Scheid also told us they're sized at 6x9 (six holes, each measuring nine-thousandths of an inch)."

Thought Id throw that in the options list.
