okay guys i just saw a video on youtube where a f350 dually blew a ton of smoke just two footing it. he aid something about having put in a smoke switch. a.)what is that, b.) what does it cost to do, and c.) would it work with my 7.3L? any help or tips would be appreciated. thanks!

Ive never heard or seen such a thing as a smoke switch. Some aftermarket programers have settings that once used can cause exess smoke.  Just keep in mind smoke = wased fule. I'm all for that big beautiful back cloud but I dont think any company would make a switch just to smoke

It was probably a 6.0. And it's a BAD idea for 6.0's because it can really lock up your VGT vanes.

oh okay. and yeah i think it was a 6.0L. and hey SLEEPER i see you post and help out on alot o forums, would you recommend that i get my ts chip sent to tony wildman and have it retuned? like would i notice a big difference?

i have heard about this smoke switch. i am not exactly how it work but from what i have heard is that is a switch that opens the wastegate and keeps it open. i could see this working because then u wouldnt build boost you would be just burning fuel. making a lot of smoke. this is just a romor that i heard.

I ran Tony's tunes in my 95, and if you have a stock TS chip then yes you will notice a better running truck.  You can't go wrong with wildman.
