i have a suspension knocking issue. on smooth roads its good. when i hit little cracks in the road it clunks ever so slightly. on rougher roads it is bigger. i have insatalled a pro comp levelling kit on my 2004 F350 SRD. it came with 2 spring packs, u bolts 4 shocks and track bar bushings to adjust for the lift.
i have just done the upper and lower ball joints on both sides and passenger wheel brgs. i was also told on the fords that the sway bar bushings pound out, so i removed the sway bars for testing purposes and now it is worse. so i will reinsatall sway bars. i have gone over all fasteners and checked them. after the lift kit was insatalled i had a run in period and retourqued the u bolts again. the noise is really annoying and i want to make sure it is safe for my family. anybody have any other sugestions? when i get out of the bush on wed. i am going to go over everything again and jack the truck up and hang the front axle with no weght and start prying on things to see if ther is any movement on the components.
hopefully someone has some advice.thanks.
