Hey Yall! So, I've got a 1998 chevy Tahoe 4x4 with a 6.5 in it. This thing has run great and been well maintained. The other day I was driving home on the highway at 65mph and it started blowing white smoke. At same time there was a loss of power and slight drop in oil pressure. It ran smooth at 50mph, but when accelorated higher white smoke and power loss again. Service engine light is on. It starts right up and idles fine. Am afraid to drive it for fear of engine damage from possible bad injectors? It has 130K on it now. Not sure if the injectors have been replaced by previous owner or not. Replaced the fuel filter as per mechanics advice. Service engine light still on.Any Ideas where to check? Thanks for the help!Zeke
Take to shop and see what the code is for. Hope she ain't smoked
