i have a 7.3 powerstroke leaking fuel down back off motor.it has done this twice in one day but nothin today.has anyone ever seen this. i cant tell where its comming from.
From another posting by Jason Thompson: "Another tricky spot is the brass three way connector that leads to the plastic return line. It's located at the back side on top of the intake manifold." To be honest with you, I think mine is leaking there too. You need to double check that it is not leaking further toward the front of the engine, and just running down the valley and draining out the back. Look for any standing fuel in any of the glow plug depressions. Also, if the engine is hot enough, you might actually be able to see diesel burning off if it is dripping onto the exhaust manifold. Let us know what you find out! Good Luck

Had this happen on my 97 it was the fuel pump in the valley of the engine. started to fail and leak out the weep hole. Just replaced the fuel pump. hope this helps! HP

I have two other friends with f250 diesel truck and mine started to do the same thing this year. It turned out to be the o ring on the fuel box water drain on top of the engine it a cheap fix, good luck. Barry
